In 2006, GMC launched the Acadia crossover we know and love. Aside from a refresh in 2012, the model has remained relatively unchanged for the past decade. All that's about to change next week when the automaker unveils the next-generation, 2017 Acadia in Kobo Hall in Detroit.

As of now, the only concrete information we have is that the Acadia will ride on a new platform and boast the latest infotainment tech in its interior, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and other gadgetry. Car and Driver reports we can expect a new 3.6L engine to replace the outgoing model's mill, with a bit more power and nimble driving dynamics.

More information as we get it. In the meantime, you can continue your shopping by browsing our lineup of new GMC models through our website. Once you've picked out the model that suits you best, you can get in touch with our Lima, OH location about a test drive.
