Hyundai Motor Company recently announced that it will continue to add environmentally friendly variants to its lineup by 2020. Along with the Ioniq, Hyundai plans to launch an electric vehicle with a driving range of approximately 200 miles per charge in 2018.

With this new addition, Hyundai's lineup will soon be armed to compete with many large players in the EV market, like the upcoming Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla 3 -- like the Hyundai EV, each will offer around 200-miles of range. Currently, there's no information associated with pricing; however, we can assume that if it's indeed competing with the likes of the Bolt and Tesla 3 that it will be priced around $30,000 after government incentives. As soon as we learn more, you will be the first to know.

If you're currently in the market for a new Hyundai model, we have a number of great options including the environmentally friendly 2016 Sonata Hybrid. If you would like to schedule an appointment for a test drive, contact our showroom by calling 866-551-3896.
