Fun to drive and fuel efficient car. CVT numbs the driving a lot but is a trade off for the increased fuel economy. Seating is decent, but could definitely use some more lumbar support to make it better.

Value of the MSRP compared to resell is insane, $5,000. Obviously Civics aren’t for bigger/tall people, however there is a ton of space in the basic LX model. It is difficult for me to get in and out though (I’m 5’10, 175lbs). My one complaint is the defrost of the rear and side mirrors. They don’t. You have to drive until your side mirrors use the wind to clear the dew. Other than that, have a steady 29mpg. Highest has been 30mpg. Safety features include lane departure mitigation, the steering wheel does pull you back into the lane, alert for brake is just okay. Planning on getting 200k miles on this car as I truly believe Honda’s last forever. If you have a baby, you need to get a specific mirror to see your kiddo. The ones they sell at Walmart do not fit around the head rest as they don’t adjust for you to clip.
    • It's a good civic

Ex Blue using for comparable vehicles is 2010 civic coupe LX that I owned before. How comfortable a long drive is? the 2022 is about the same as the 2010 for how comfortable it is, expect I can use the 2022 heated seats to help some with tension in lower back. Noise issues on highway or rough roadways, the 2022 is a bit quieter then the 2010 but not by that much and the 2022 is not too bad as long as all undercarriage plugs have been installed (if you think its too noisy check it its within reach) but if you are expecting silent ride it's not so pick something else if that is a must. No real calling issue for me at least for calls on Android auto or Bluetooth as long as the other caller is not on speaker or Bluetooth as well, then its sometimes hard to hear. So far great gas mileage on paper on the 2022 (miles driven divided by gallon put in) between 38.6 to 40 miles to the gallon the 2010 was 33 to 35.6 both with the same commute (its 22 miles one way about 30% city, 50% country, 20% highway) this is the average. I at least really like the look of this car the outside and interior, I don't mind the screen (thought I would more) but I can turn the lights dimmer anytime so that helps too, you will either like it or won't but it's not too hard to use if it was actually explained to you or you look up a tutorial if you don't understand your user manual. As its not too old yet We will see how a reliability goes but it's a civic they tend to last a good long while or at least my last one did so we'll see but at least so far no mechanical issues or anything like that I will be following every 3K miles Changing oil because it's a Turbo. I think it's a fun drive took an 80 mile drive that's mostly sharp curves and turns higher and lower speeds Easy handling, was fun driving it, if you like those types of drives. Will review in a year or so again.
