Black Ops Jeep With A Military Feel

The updated Jeep Wrangler has a slew of special editions available, best of all (in our opinion) being the Call of Duty: Black Ops Wrangler. Available for a test run at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships in Lima, OH, the black Ops Jeep feels like a real military vehicle - the way Wranglers should always be.

To some, Jeeps have become "soft" over the years - dedicating themselves to comfort and separating them from their utilitarian roots. According to Wall Street Journal blogger Jonathan Welsh, 'Black Ops' Wrangler "still feels a bit like the Vietnam-war-era M151 Jeeps that my old National Guard unit used well into the 1990s."1

The vehicle is also "surprisingly comfortable on the highway. It didn't wander from side to side, bounce passengers around or make so much noise that we couldn't hear the radio."2

He adds the model does indeed have more stability than the two door variants, and that the car is indeed better suited for long distance, highway driving. The vehicles's combination of off-road capability and open-air convertible function is "just about impossible to match."

For a starting price of $22,000, "Wranglers are also a lot more stylish, interesting and exciting than most cars" at that price range. "They are fine examples of form following function. One look tells you what this truck was designed to do."3
