Million Dollar Chrysler 300C

If you're in the market for a used car, there's no doubt you've surfed the web trying to find a good deal. In your travels, have you come across the 2005 Chrysler 300C listed for $1 million on Craigslist? If you have, you'll know the bidding starts at seven digits because of the person who owned it first. If you haven't, you're probably asking yourself, what makes a car worth a million bucks?

Well, according to the woman listing the car, the person who owns it expects to get the full million for it…

GMC Creates Virtual Comfort

How do you stay cool inside the cabin of a GMC Terrain? By using science! Made possible by one individual.

Engineers call him The Iceman (aka Jeff Bozeman). He's "a high-tech top gun whose team created a way to make vehicle passengers feel much warmer or cooler than the cabin temperature in which they are seated." He tested the first results inside 2012's Terrain, available from Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships in 2525 Allentown Road. Lima, OH.1

"Maybe it's my Dutch heritage, but I'm hyper-focused on finding ways to improve driver and passenger comfort while…

2012 Chrysler 300 Upgrades

If you've been keeping a close (or not so close!) eye on the Chrysler brand this past year, you already know that the company is getting bigger and better by the day. With a superbly successful "Imported From Detroit" ad campaign and rising sales, the company is doing very well for itself as of late. And now, just a year after a fantastic redo of its full-size Chrysler 300, Chrysler is at it again. The new 2012 Chrysler 300 brings even more upgrades and improvements, including a new 8-speed automatic transmission with the standard V-6 engine.

Some other upgrades…

GMC for the Holidays

It's the special time of year again! No, we aren't talking about sugar cookies, lit-up trees and a certain jolly guy in a red suit. But, if you've been good this year, maybe you'll find a new GMC parked in your driveway on Christmas morning. Why? Well, because it's time for the annual GMC Holiday Event!

Another theme for this time of year is out with the old, in with the new. Which is why GMC is making it even easier to drive home in a 2011 GMC truck or SUV. Select models are available…

Is the Jeep Pickup Still Possible?

Rumors of an updated Jeep pickup truck have been around for years. Pickup trucks were once a top sales factor for Jeep, rolling off the lots of Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships in Lima, OH faster than they could be kept in stock.

At the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, Jeep CEO Mike Manley stated that Jeep is still very interested to producing pickups, possibly in the form of a Jeep Wrangler variant.

Jeep Comanche was the last pickup built by the auto maker, based off the Cherokee of that period. However, the success of vehicles from Chrysler and Dodge…

Introducing the Ram Power Wagon

With all the extra tech gadgets, exterior add-ons, and vehicle enhancements, sometimes it's good to have a bare bones, no frills truck. They're easier to maintain, and are usually less expensive to purchase. As a utilitarian vehicle, they just need to get a job DONE. Chrysler is listening, and offering simple entry level Ram 1500 variants throughout their line up at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships - 2525 Allentown Road in Lima, OH.

The Ram Power Wagon is just such a truck.

"When it comes to off-road capability, no other pickup truck compares to the Ram Power Wagon," said…

GMC Trucks Will Be Natural Gas Ready By 2012

Compressed Natural Gas might become a more common way to power your pickup sooner than you think. GMC Trucks, like the GMC Sierra, will head to Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships in Lima, OH with a CNG option as early as next year.

General Motors is currently testing several vehicles for CNG engine use. Aside from pickups, the Savanna cargo van is testing this technology. CNG is produced by compressing natural gas to less than 1% of the volume it occupies. It is typically stored and distributed in hard, spherical containers.

"Customers want a choice when it comes to fuel…

Introducing the Buick Grand National Documentary: Black Air

With a fuel-injected, turbocharged engine that produced 200 hp at 4400 rpm and 300 lb/ft of torque at 2400 rpm, the Buick Grand National made a name for itself in the '80s. Though the model saw its last days in 1987, the name continues to elicit a heavy dose of nostalgia amongst loyal GN fans. Many fondly refer to the shiny, black car as "the black sheep," "the mold-breaker", and "the kid wearing the black leather jacket at the high school graduation."1 Thanks to three years of hard work by New York producer Andrew Filippone Jr., Buick owners…

The 2012 Genesis Gains More Power

We here at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships are pretty big fans of the 2012 Hyundai Genesis. It's a sleek take on the large premium car segment, which many automakers seem to be turning their backs on lately. However, while Hyundai is certainly diversifying its lineup by featuring more 40 mpg models, such as the 2012 Hyundai Veloster, it remains clear that they're not about ready to give up on the Genesis either.

Case in point: the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec. This new variant features the largest engine that has ever been equipped in the Genesis…
