Have a Safe Night on Halloween

Halloween is finally upon us and safety is critical. The last thing you want is an accident when the sidewalks are full of excited children. It's important to be extra alert during trick-or-treating or any other Halloween activity.

Some road tips to follow while driving on Halloween:

  • Turn your headlights on even before dark. This helps make you more visible to children.
  • Review the basics of crossing with your young children prior to the actual eve of trick or treating.
  • If your child is wearing dark clothing for a costume. Utilize reflective patches or glow sticks to help them stand out.
  • When driving, go five MPH under the speed limit in residential areas. This gives you more time to respond to unexpected issues.

Halloween can be a great time. We want to make sure you and your family have a safe and wonderful trick-or-treating experience. Use caution on the roads and give us a call if you need more advice (or want to talk about a new car).
