Introducing the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

Once again, SRT is brining out a pumped up version of Jeep Grand Cherokee to Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships in Lima, OH.

Price at just over $55,000, 2012's SRT8 variant of Grand Cherokee is one of the most expensive to date - but you'll get what you pay for.

A super-charged 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with Fuel Saver Tech runs this high-end 470 horsepower, 465 lb ft of torque powerplant. That's an additional 50 hp over other trim levels. A sophisticated five-speed manumatic transmission controls it all, with optional steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and four-wheel-drive system.

SRT-tuned adaptive suspension is courtesy of Selec-Track, which interacts with multiple systems: stability control, adaptive damping, transmission shift strategy, transfer case torque proportioning, electronic limited slip differential performance, throttle control etc. This suspension sits atop P295/45ZR20 Pirelli Scorpion Verde all-season run-flat tires.

On the street, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 hits 100 kilometers (62 MPH) in 5.4 seconds. Sounds too good to be true? Head to your local dealer and test drive one today!
