Buick is Your Kind of Luxury

We've been catching these spots on the web and network TV for the all new Buick Regal - which began during the presentation of NCAA's Final Four games. Now, Buick tells us what "Your Kind of Luxury" is all about. What is "your kind" of luxury? With Buick's latest ad campaign, we'll find out what our luxury is.

Scenes of parents and children playing, couples running through the rain to their new Buick, a photographer practicing his hobby. Then, a voice over by actor Kevin Bacon: "A life of meaning and happiness - that's the greatest luxury of all."

"The commercial tells consumers Buick is the fastest growing major car brand in the US, a nod to its 52% sales gain in 2010," according to Detroit Free Press. The new campaign is seeking to position Buick as it was more than half a century ago, Craig Bierley, Buick's director of advertising and promotions said, "as a brand for affluent people who don't want to flaunt their success." Bacon's voice over adds "vehicles of substance and quality, with a look and feel that says, 'Come as you are.' This isn't luxury the way you've always known it. It's luxury the way it should be - your kind of luxury." It's the kind of luxury anyone can test drive at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships in Lima Ohio.

College hoop fans will see more of Buick in the coming years. The American auto maker just signed a three year contract to sponsor NCAA events.
