First Vehicles

The first simple, reliable and affordable car that the average American worker could afford was built by Henry Ford. This very first simple vehicle was the Model T. Mr. Ford did not invent the car itself but he did produce the first car that was in the economic reach of an average American worker. 1908 is when this car was introduced.
It is always interesting to hear what peoples' first vehicles are, don't you agree? So, we asked a few managers here at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships what their first vehicles were and here are the responses we got -
Tom Ahl, Dealer Principal - 1964 Buick Electra 225 Convertible
Tom got this bright red Buick for $450 at an auction. He and his wife named this car the "Getaway".
Vince Downing, General Manager - 1973 Buick Regal Grand Sport
Tom Brown, General Sales Manager (CDJR) - 1965 Chrysler Newport
Steve Bales, Service Manager - 1962 Oldsmobile 98
Joe Parent, Used Car Manager - 1976 Purple Oldsmobile Starfire
Amy Downing, General Sales Manager (Buick GMC) - 1982 Blue Toyota Celica
Sharon Dukes, Office Manager (CDJR) - 1965 Mercury Comet
Scott Jackson, New Car Manager (Buick GMC) - 1984 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible
Roger Arroyo, Sales Manager (Hyundai) - 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
