The first Dodge Challenger to roll through production was the 1970 model. Now in 2010, the Challeger is celebrating its 40th anniversary. To celebrate this anniversary, Dodge has created this sportscar in a limited Furious Fuchsia. This 40th anniversary Furious Fuchsia Challenger will be available for versions R/T and SR8. This is not the first fuchsia/pink Challenger that hasbeen produced. As a matter of fact, the first Challenger series was painted Pink Panther.
This limited edition Challenger will have 20-inch alloy wheels with burnished treatment and quadruple exhaust tailpipes and black insert of the hood, in addition to plates with internal numbering. The R/T Classic alloy wheels instead adopt more but in the classic 20-inch aluminum color and stickers along the sides white. Both use white leather for the seat covers, recalling again the progenitor. The U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the new 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic in Furious Fuchsia Pearl Coat is $35,140, while the high-performance SRT8 model is $45,150.
The 2010 Dodge Challenger had merged the best American muscle-car characteristics with its definite design, world-class handling, and powerful engines and technology. Due to these facts, as well with the features of the vehicle, this Challenger was awarded J.D. Power and Associates "Most Appealing Midsize Sporty Car" in its 2009 APEAL Study.
